Rain comes down along the headland; I see its gentle, grey sweep moving indiscriminately south.

Rainwater flows down along the headland. I see the dim current, gently surging, heading south unrestrained.

bridge

The previous midnight the workers had arrived and brushed away officials who guarded the bridge in preparation for the ceremonies the next day, moved with their own flickering lights like a wave of civilization, a net of summer insects over the valley.

The previous midnight, the workers arrived, driving away the officials who had been guarding the bridge in preparation for the next day’s ceremony. They walked with their own flickering lights, moving like a tide of civilization, like summer insects, netting over the valley.

light

You, behind the light—

You, behind the lamp,

would you ever turn to me, and cry?

do you want to cry in front of me?

Or, like I do,

Or, like me,

retreat from where the brightness falls.

dodge the light.

box

Moving our world forward by delivering what matters.

Delivering every need and wish—moving the world forward.

truck

I walk from the steel plate onto the snow, with snow stretching endlessly before me. The air feels a bit colder against my nose. More snow presses onto my shoes, as if squeezing out ice—fortunately, none gets inside, and my feet remain dry and warm. The light reflecting off the snow makes me slightly dizzy, but I don’t care; in fact, I suppress my pride and just keep moving forward. Strangely, no one seems to be watching me; even the snow’s reflected light shines upon my body.

I walk from the steel plate into the snow; in front of me is snow, and in front of the snow is more snow. The air my nose feels is a bit colder. More snow squeezes onto my shoes, as if squeezing out ice. Fortunately, it does not get into my shoes, and my feet are not wetted by the cold water. The light reflected by the snow makes me a little dizzy. I don’t care; in fact, I restrained my pride and just keep walking forward. Strangely, no one is scrutinizing me; even the light reflected by the snow shines on my body.
